Fees/Grants

All Courses cost €450.00 and are broken down as follows:

1.Acceptance Fee of €50.00 (non refundable) to be paid when accepting a place on a course

2.Student Services fee of €150.00  payable on registration.

All students pay this, there is no exemption.

3. QQI Exam Fee of €50.00

4.Department of Education and Skills Participant Contribution Fee of €200.00 is also payable on registration*.

*You do not have to pay this fee if;

You hold a full medical card in your own right;

You are the dependent child of a full medical card holder;

You are eligible for a SUSI student grant;

You are getting the Back to Education Allowance or VTOS allowance

*Evidence of an exemption must be furnished to the college on Registration.

 

Please note, depending on the course of study you choose, there may be additional costs for the following;

 

  • First Aid €190.00
  • Manual Handling €50.00
  • Safe Pass €50.00

 

 

Non-EU Nationals who do not meet the exemption requirements are liable for the full tuition fee of €3,653 as per instructions of the Department of Education and Skills.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that they meet Immigration and Visa requirements prior to applying for a place on a course.

From the start of the 2021/22 academic year, international protection applicants who have permission to work and want to access a PLC course will no longer have to pay international fees.

Proof of status must be presented to the admissions office.
