Course Description

This full time PLC (Post Leaving Certificate) is designed to prepare students for work in the hotel and catering industry. The course creates a learning environment, in which the emphasis is on the practical application of the skills necessary, to work in the dynamic and ever-changing sectors of food and beverage and food preparation. This course provides learners with an introduction to all areas of the hospitality industry. Learners will explore restaurant skills and understand key concepts in restaurant and hospitality operations and service. This will include standard operating procedures and detailed product knowledge of popular food and beverage items. Learners must obtain one day per week relevant work experience as part of the programme. This full-time course
